Cook County Department of Emergency Management and Regional Security Seeks Input on Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan

The Cook County Department of Emergency Management and Regional Security is reaching out to the public for input on their Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan. In a statement released on May 2, 2024, the department expressed their commitment to engaging with the community in order to better address natural hazards.

"We want to hear from residents, businesses, and community organizations about their experiences with natural hazards and their ideas for reducing risk and building resilience," stated the Cook County Department of Emergency Management and Regional Security.
